Weekend Fun

About 10 days ago I had the TV on while me and the boys were getting ready in the morning. Logan saw a Sea World commercial and said that he wanted to go. When I got to work I received an email for last minute airfare deals to San Diego. Tickets were really cheap so I decided our family needed a little vacation. Nothing like being spontaneous!!! We had a great time getting away.

When we went to the Shamu Show the boys wanted to sit right up front...after all we didn't get that wet at the Dolphin Show and we were in the second row. So, we sat in the fourth row to watch Shamu. Needless to say we got SOAKED and Logan started to freak out. We had to leave right after we got splashed because the boys were not very happy at all. Later that day, after we had dried, we went back to watch the Shamu Show again...from the upper deck. It is amazing to see people swimming with these amazing creatures!

I think one of the weekend highlights was when we went to the harbor and went on a boat musuem tour. We were able to tour 5 different boats that were docked in the harbor. The boys loved the Pirate Ship and the Submarine!

Flight of the Conchords

Last night Larry and I were fortunate to be able to see Flight of the Conchords in concert...I'm not sure if you can call it a concert or a comedy routine...either way we had a great time!!! If you don't know anything about this duo they are from Wellington, NZ. They currently have a sitcom on HBO that is pretty entertaining. Here is a clip from their t.v. show. This is also one of the songs they performed at the concert.

Great Friends

I wanted to welcome Steve and Deidra to the world of blogging! Steve and Deid have been very good friends to Larry and I. I admire the relationship that Steve and Deid have with each other and they inspire me to be a better wife and mother. They have recently been approved to adopt a baby through LDS Family Services. We can't wait for them to be blessed with another baby!

My Sweetheart

For Valentines Day my sweet Larry was so kind and thoughtful. He had a package waiting for me when I woke up with CK IN2U perfume and a really cute sweetshirt. His note was especially appreciated. I was pleasantly surprised to wake up to a gift waiting for me. Later, while I was at work, the Office Manager brought a beautiful floral arrangement up to my office. I thought it was impossible that they could be for me because Larry had all ready given me a gift. But, they were. Larry had sent me a beautiful rose arrangement! Needless to say, he went above and beyond my expectations this year! He was thoughtful and generous and it meant more to me than I can express. Thank you, Larry. I love you!
