Joyous day.
I'm not sure I should be this excited that I have a sink with running water, but I am!!! The counter top was finished yesterday and the plumber installed the faucet, water line to the fridge, and gas to the stove last night. The kitchen is looking amazing! There is still lots to do but the end is in sight. I have to mention the other thing that makes me happy...we bought a soap pump and had it installed too. It's silly, I know, but having one less bottle on the counter makes me smile. I was actually squealing in delight last night.

I am so excited for you guys! I guess we know where the next get together is going to be:)
Seriously, I keep saying "once the kitchen is done we are going to have a dinner party". So yeah, the next get together will be at our house. :)
How exciting. I love the end of a long project. That feeling is so sweet. Enjoy your sink and water.
That is something to be excited about! When my Mom was redoing her kitchen a couple of years ago, I didn't even like going to her house with everything all torn up and no water in the kitchen. I can't imagine what a pain it's been for you guys. But it will all be worth it when you have the finished result.
Yea! I can't wait to see it! I don't know how you have done it. I had a nervous breakdown the other day over our little bathroom remodel. It was then that I decided, we will NOT be doing our kitchen.
See! Dad was right - June 1st, I mean August 15. Yeah! It looks like a kitchen (and an awesome one at that). And, more importantly, it functions like a kitchen. Seriously, your hard work has paid off and it is really beautiful. Now, are you ready to come do mine?
